3.- Hello Vedruna Class
the diamond Jubilee is
when a monarch has reigned over us 60 years. There has only been one
monarch who has had a diamond Jubilee Queen Victoria
Queen Elizabeth 2nd was
crowned in 1953 and she is still ruling in 2012. We think this is a
very big achievement. Hundreds of people across the United kingdom
have been holding street parties to celebrate this historic event.
We celebrated the day by
doing several dances such as the Gay Gordon's and the twist. We sang
the British national anthem god save the Queen and made our crowns We
had a red white and blue snack which included vanilla ice cream,
Strawberry or Raspberry sauce and Blueberries. We didn't have to wear
our school uniform instead we got to wear red white and blue clothing
to match the colour of our flag.
We have some questions for
you
Do you have a king or
Queen in Spain?
If you have a monarch how
long has it ruled?
what is her/his name?

Rory, Travis, Logan

4.- Hello
Vedruna Class
we
would like to tell you about the weather in Scotland .In Scotland the
weather can be very dull but over the last few weeks it has been very
warm.
In
Spring it can be sunny but cold. All the nice flowers and trees start
to grow in the Spring. Sometimes there are baby cows, lambs and
calves that are born in the Spring.
In
Summer it can be warm so you need to put lots of sun cream on. The
good thing about Summer is that you can play at the beach and play
during the Summer holidays.
In
Autumn it can be drizzly and windy sometimes we get red, orange and
yellow leaves.
When
it is drizzly you can stay snug inside with the fire on (or heating).
In
winter it can be very snowy hear like last year. sometimes
it can come down with hailstones which are frozen pieces of snow and
they can be very sore when they hit you.slush is very soggy snow.
We
have got some questions we would like to ask you:
1.Have
you ever seen snow?
2.What
is the highest tempruter you have ever had?
3.
Would you ever like it to snow in your country?
From
Lindsay, Anya, Ailsa and Lauren.
